How Pantevo collects, uses and protects information about food banks, donors and receivers.

This Privacy Policy replaces any earlier version. We will tell you before a material change takes effect, and may require you to accept the updated policy before continuing to use Pantevo.

What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how ("Pantevo", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use pantevo.com and the services we provide through it. It applies to everyone who uses the Platform: food bank administrators, donors, receivers, and visitors who browse our public pages without an account. Pantevo is a shared platform. A food bank you register with, donate to, or receive food from will see information about you that relates to its own operations, and it decides how it uses that information within its own organisation. This policy describes what we do with your information. It does not govern what an individual food bank does with it. This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with it, do not use Pantevo.

1 Who we are

PANTEVO LLC operates Pantevo, a cloud-based food distribution platform that connects food banks, donors and receivers. Where this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means that entity. We are responsible for the Platform itself: the accounts it holds, the records it stores, the emails it sends and the infrastructure it runs on. We are not a food bank. We never take possession of food, we do not decide who receives it, and we do not control how an individual food bank uses the information it can see about its own donors and receivers. Our contact details are in clause 13.

2 Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information. Account information. Your first name, last name, email address, the role you register under, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in readable form. Food bank information. The organisation's name, address, contact details, service area, and the details its administrator enters when registering and managing it. Donor information. The donations you post, including descriptions, quantities, categories and collection arrangements, together with the record of when a food bank approved and confirmed each one. Receiver information. The details you provide when a food bank approves you, including your address or postal code, your household size, and the household information described in clause 4. Consent records. When you accept our Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, we record which version you accepted, the date and time, the IP address the acceptance came from, and the browser identifier your device sent. We keep this as evidence that consent was given. Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe holds your card details; we do not. We store your subscription status, plan, billing dates and the identifiers Stripe provides to us. Communications. Emails we send you, contact and support messages you send us, and whether a message was delivered. Technical information. Server and error logs, the pages requested, and the information your browser sends as part of a normal request. Location information. When you search for a nearby food bank we use the postal code or address you enter to find one, and we may send it to a third-party mapping service for that purpose. We do not track your device's location.
